Removal
Accolade Asbestos Services Ltd is able to handle all non-licensable removals. Our trained operatives are experienced in the requirements to safely remove asbestos containing materials from a site whilst adhering to all relevant disposal regulations.

Examples of materials that fall into this category are: Asbestos Cement (Roof-Panels, Soffits, Gutters, Soil-Stacks & Down-Pipes, Bath-Panels, Wall Panels, Loft-Hatches), Storage Heaters, Vinyl Floor Tiles, Toilet Cisterns & Seats, Bitumen products etc. Please call to discuss special requirements.

In addition to the materials that were non-licensable in the CAWR 2002 regulations, the new Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 introduced on the 13th November permit ARTEX to be removed from premises without the need to employ a licensed contractor. This will help facilitate a marked reduction in costs associated with Artex removals.

Removals are still subject to a risk assessment concluding that the control limits for exposure to fibres won’t be exceeded, which in the vast majority of cases will be true. It is important to note that this de-regulation is not a sign that Artex is safe, trained individuals should still be employed to undertake work as special operating procedures and disposal methods are still a requirement of the regulations.

Please contact us for a tailored quote for your removal issues. Together with our rapid sampling service we can process removals quickly and efficiently.
